Update , Saturday, February 23, 2008: All fields closed today due to wet field conditions.
Spring 2008 applications are being processed by the Division Coordinators. They will divide the teams and distribute to the coaches. The coaches will call the players. This process takes about 2 weeks to complete. You should hear from a coach no later than March 10th, in most cases.
Coaches clinic, Saturday, Feb 23, Freedom Park, 12:30-2:30. Email cjrsf@aol.com if you want to attend. It is free and highly encouraged (and very helpful).
High Wind Notice: If high winds or wind gusts are present, please ensure that all goals are securely anchored prior to play or practice. If in any doubt, remove the goals from the playing area.
If weather closings are not posted here, call 704-336-5800 Ext. 3.
Please email all questions/concerns/comments to cjrsf@aol.com. EMAILS ARE STRONGLY PREFERRED OVER TELEPHONE MESSAGES-PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE A PHONE MESSAGE-USE EMAIL IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
We need Division Coordinators to manage Under 5 Girls-GMops, Girls Under 6 , Boys 3 and 4. This is a relatively easy and greatly rewarding volunteer job. Please email Debby if you are interested in being a Division Czar/Czarina.
Please email Debby at cjrsf@aol.com if you are interested in volunteering for anything in this 35 year old organization!
Please consider sponsoring a team this year. CJSF renovates all our fields every summer. Sponsorship money helps offset these substantial yearly costs and also provides money for scholarships. Cost is $400 per team per seaon. Just email us at cjrsf@aol.com if you would like to sponsor a team. PARKING: Parking at Freedom Park-please use the available spots in the parking lot near the playground and train. Do not park in the grass along the roads. There are enough parking spaces for everyone.
TRASH PICK UP: Please make sure you pick up your trash after practices and games. THANKS!
FIELD CONDITIONS: If the fields are very wet and have standing water, please do not play on them. Make sure you pick up your trash after practice and games. Take care of our fields by not playing in the goal nets and avoiding the area in front of the goals during practices.Thank you for taking care of our fields. Let's keep them clean and green.
If you have a question for a member of our Board or one of the Division Coordinators, you can email them through CJrSF@aol.com. with their name in the SUBJECT line.
Thank you.
